Terms of Service

Last updated: September 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thedaoflow.com (the “Site”) and the classes, sessions, digital content, and products offered by Dao of Demi (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or booking or purchasing anything through it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or make a purchase. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being misused.

3. Health and wellness disclaimer

Our classes, sessions, meditations, and other content are for general wellness and educational purposes only. They are not medical care, therapy, or professional advice, and they are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.

Consult your physician before beginning any new movement, breathwork, or wellness practice, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury, or managing a health condition. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for working within your own limits. Any health information you share with us (for example, in a booking note) is used only to help the instructor accommodate you and does not create a provider-patient relationship.

The Site also links to third-party support and advocacy resources. Those organizations are independent; we do not control and are not responsible for their content or services.

4. Bookings, purchases, and payment

  • Prices are shown at checkout and are in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; by paying, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
  • A booking or order is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is mispriced or unavailable, or a session is full) and will refund any amount already charged for it.
  • Class schedules, instructors, and locations may change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • Classes and sessions: cancel at least 24 hours before the start time for a full refund or account credit. Cancellations within 24 hours, and no-shows, are non-refundable. If we cancel a session, you receive a full refund or credit.
  • Physical products: unopened items in original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the item price; return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
  • Digital content (recorded meditations and similar) is non-refundable once accessed.

To request a cancellation or refund, contact support@thedaoflow.com.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
  • scrape, copy, or redistribute Site content except as expressly allowed;
  • harass, threaten, or harm other users, instructors, or staff;
  • impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, graphics, logos, class materials, recordings, and software — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use purchased content for your own non-commercial use. You may not record, reproduce, distribute, or publicly perform our sessions or content without our written permission.

8. Your content

If you submit content to us (for example, a message, review, or booking note), you keep ownership of it but grant us a non-exclusive license to use it as needed to operate the Site and provide our services. Do not submit content you don’t have the right to share.

9. Third-party links and services

The Site relies on third-party services (such as Google/Firebase and Stripe) and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and all content and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or participation in a class or session. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us for the item or session giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Assumption of risk and release

You acknowledge that physical movement, breathwork, and sound practices carry inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, you assume those risks and release us and our instructors from claims arising from your voluntary participation, except for liability that cannot be waived by law (such as gross negligence or willful misconduct). We may ask you to sign a separate waiver for certain sessions.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Site. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
